FESTIVAL ANTIGONISH SUMMER THEATRE
Described by the Halifax Daily News as "the little festival that could", they're not as small as you think! More than 100 performances of a dozen different shows over 2 months! Festival Antigonish was named one of the Top 5 professional summer theatres in Canada by the Ottawa Citizen.


THE ANTIGONISH HIGHLAND GAMES
Each July, hundreds of musicians, dancers, and athletes perform and compete in this grand three day festival. Come and enjoy the OLDEST continuous running Highland Games outside Scotland since 1863.


ANTIGONISH GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB
Play a round at the championship-calibre Antigonish Golf and Country Club, a challenging 18-hole, 6,109 yard course.


ANTIGONISH HERITAGE MUSEUM
This is a well preserved example of an early 20th century railway station. The museum features exhibits and artifacts depicting early days of Antigonish town and county.


ST. FRANCIS XAVIER UNIVERSITY
Stroll the beautiful campus, or visit the Hall of Clans, found in the Angus L. Macdonald library. Explore the vast activities the Sports Complex and new Millennium Center provides such as swimming, gyms, racquetball, squash, track, aerobics, and sauna facilities.


ST. NINIAN'S CATHEDRAL
Explore the magnificent St. Ninian’s Cathedral. St. Ninian’s was built in 1868 from locally quarried granite, and is the seat fo the Roman Catholic Diocese. Services are held throughout the year.


EASTERN NOVA SCOTIA EXHIBITION
The annual Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition showcases the work of the local 4-H groups in Antigonish Town and County. The week-long fair, held in September, features light and heavy horse shows and livestock competitions. Craft & floral displays, good food, live entertainment and the carnival midway attract people from all over the country.
